Error "Host Not Resolvable"

Hi All,

We are facing following error while setting up the EWA for SAP EHP1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0 . As soon as we click on “Setup EarlyWatch Alert “ , the following error is displayed:

Host Not Resolvable

Cannot connect to the website requested.

The most common causes are:

You have mistyped the URL.

The remote site is unavailable.

Other technical issue with the remote site.

Please verify the site name and try again.

Solution Manger entries exist in the host file , respective services file entry seems to be fine too. If anyone has faced such issue earlier and the possible solution, please let us know .

Solution Manager is probably trying to connect to SAP. Make sure that all relevant configuration has been done and that the connection can be established (network configuration allows it).
