LMDB / SMSY incosistency

Hello!

I'm running a Solution Manger 7.1 SP8

I've got a incosistency in my SMSY.

In my LMDB the Systemnumber of a system is correct, in the SMSY the status is "*** not yet assign".

AI_LMDBS_DISPLAY_SYNC_LOGS shows NO logs.

Hi Bastian,

The problem is that the system is not register in LMDB correctly. You can see that in SolMan SM1/001 if you see the Data Source = RFC in SMSY.

You know with SolMan Release 7.1 all systems have to be registered in SLD.
After the registration of the system, all System information will be available in SLD. These registered system synchronize from SLD to LMDB and from LMDB to SMSY.
If the registration in SLD -> LMDB and SMSY is successful you see in the field "data source = LMDB" in SMSY. After that you can use the MOPZ application and transaction.

So, register your solman system and managed system correctly in SLD and LMDB. Therefore, firstly you have to run solman_setup for the confugiration of the solman system and run the LMDB Setup under the step system preparation.

Hello Hugo!

Datasource in SMSY is LMDB. The system is registered in the SLD.

In SolMan Licensemanagement I saw Something strange:

Systemnumber in SAP Support Portal: *** not yet assigned

But in the SAP Support Portal Installationnumber and Systemnumber are correct.

Hi Avishek,

I had the same problem, the information was in LMDB (installation and system number) and it was even verified ("All software component version are covered by selected instances"), to do the verification I had to click on button "Execute Verification Check (Enforced, Asynchronous)".

But it was missing in SMSY...

I read that if you change something in LMDB it will be automatically (and instantly) changed in SMSY. So i changed the description in LMDB and clicked on save. As a result, the description in SMSY changed AND the installation and system number as well! So no more " *** not yet assign".
