PDS - Difference between Operation and Activity

Hello ,

                   Can any one tell me how to read a PDS , what is operation and activity and where is the resource defined in a PDS.

Hi Nick,

If you double click the activity (t.code /SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU), you will get another table with mode and components tabs. Select 'mode' tab to find out the resource being used for the activity. Mode establishes the relationship between activity and resource.

Activity describes the operation in detail level by means of different types such as setup, produce, tear down, etc. For each activity, you can further define the mode, components along with consumption rates.
