Notification department responsible

Hi All,

I want to change the department responsible which is fetched when the notification is created.Currently when a notification is created for an inspection lot the department reaponsible is being fetched form the material which is added in the order.

the user wants to fetch the department responsible from the inspection characteristics info field 3 .I tried debugging the code but couldnt get any user exit or BAdi fro this requirement.

Please guide me to achieve this or whether this can be controlled in coding or through config.

have you considered user exit QQMA0007 ? This is used to determine default values, might be of help?

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the reply.But the notification is created in Qe 11 transaction when the defect class is out of veto.

This exit is not called.Ans the notification is created  and activated here.i want to save the notification with my departmrnt responsible.so that the notification will be sent to user assigned under that.
