LSMW Alternative Requirements  

• LSMW is a restricted T-Code that cannot be granted to business (non-IT)
• No other SAP t-code allows a reporting on tax conditions. MWST/ZE02/…

Tax condition rules are stored in access sequences (SAP tables Axxx – xxx being a number), which contain different selection criteria and assign a condition record number. The same condition record number can be found in SAP table KONP – KONP contains the tax rate, tax code.

However, it is very difficult to search and maintain these condition rules in most SAP instances. In order to be able to support tax rate changes at short notice we require some minor configuration changes (requirements #2 and #3)/a report (requirement #1)

Requirements

1. 1. Ability to run a report on tax pricing conditions / access sequences including the tax code selected, tax rate selected, condition record number.
2. 2. All Access sequences should follow a clear naming standard:
   <Access Sequence Table number> - Selection Data element
3. 3. Most access Sequences require certain data elements as a mandatory input for search. However SAP can be setup in such a way that all search elements are optional in the search.
