MS SQL license.

Hi ,

I have a query about MS SQL 2008 License.

My understanding is that we can install multiple database for one MS SQL server instance.

Now I have license for EP on MS SQL.

So We have installed EP with MS SQL 2008. Now we want to add another database to same SQL Server to use it for NAKISA. Now my question is

Do we need another license for it? ( Note : we already have license for NAKISA )

Regards,

Arpit.

Hi,

As far as I know  it is instance based.

Since you have purchased license  for EP that includes only EP installation not for other systems.

So you would need to contact SAP for additional license for your SQL Server to use NAKISA .

We had a similiar scenario whereby we contacted SAP and bought additional license.

If you still want to clarify raise a message  with the primary component BC-DB-MSS and you can confirm it..

They will be able to find the license for your S-User ID and provide the license information in more detail.

I hope it helps.

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal
