How to enable "Search in Key" & "Search on Database" option in prompts

Hi Experts,

I am working with BO 4 sp4 patch 10. All prompts "Search in Key" & "Search on Database" option is disabled. So user is not allowing to search by key. Please let me know of enable this option.

How is the LOV in the prompt created or what is it based on?

According to KBA 1291967, there are some restrictions on the Database Delegated search option which may explain why it is not available to use for you:

The Delegate search option has the following restrictions:
• Delegate Search is not supported for cascading list of values.
• Delegate Search can be activated only for list of values on objects that are type character.
• Delegate Search cannot be activated when custom SQL is entered for the list of values.
• Delegate Search cannot be activated when the Hierarchical display option for list of values is used.
