Hi Deepak

Thank you for your reply.

In actual project we have 25.000 employees that each one has 8 files to upload in DMS.

25.000 x 8 = 200.000 actual files.

In archivelink I can have performance problem to access this files.

So, my idea is to use content server and object link in DMS.

It´s a big development? Create screen, create program...

Hi Fernando,

Many customers are using Archivelink to stored HR related data with employees more than 30,000. There are no performance issues using Archivelink. Archivelink is a protocol but data will get stored in content server post configuration.

Developing such screens and programs takes time. But it possible to implement this using custom code as you may make use of DMS related BAPI's and function modules to store and link data.

Hi Deepak

My costumer needs create "doc version" because an employee can be transfered to another site.

For example:

Employee 1234 DIR 1000000000000 version 00 site ABC.

When this employee is transfered to another site: Employee 1234 DIR 1000000000000 vs01 workplace XYZ.

So, in DMS I can control this point.

Did you do some development for a new object link?
