Anyone runing a Dialog Instance on a separate server from the CI + SCS?

Seems that when we shut down the Dialog instance, it will not reconnect with the CI unless we restart the whole cluster in sequence.

any thoughts?

Hi Alan

Ideally it should not happen that if you shutdown dialog intance you have to restart CI again.Actually this is a syncronization problem .Some times your DI and CI are not in sync and thats why it requires a restart of whole cluster. You can individually restart the DI without touching CI and thats what is one of the advantage of having clustered enviroment.

Basically it seems like the DI can not snyc with the CI, here is the error i usually get:

Exception during invocation of remote MBeanServer method, target node: 43660550.

Hi Alan,

The error message does not give very much information. Possibly you can check SAP Notes 885645 and 1016241 to see if they can help...

Best Regards,

What kind of messages are you receiving when you try to start the DI?
