SAP Router access from outside

Hi ,

Our one user wants to connect to our DEV system but VPN is limited and all are in use. So I want to allow abaper to use SAP.

Can you please tell me what are the setting I have to do in SAProuttab file and GUI at user side so that he is able to connect it.

Hi Yogesh,

Please maintain following entry in saproutab file

P * * *

Take restart of saprouter service and ask the user to check connection to DEV using saprouter entry in sapgui.

These parameters are maintained. SAP AG is also able to connect.

Please remove this entry from saproutab. Take restart of saprouter service.

I want to give only one specific user to logged in SAP via sap router and deny all others.

How is it possible.

Hi Yogesh,

You need to have the following

1) Fixed Ip address for the user who want to access SAP systems via saprouter

2) Make an entry in your firewall to allo user's ip address for incoming request

3) In saproutab make an entry as below

       P * <ip address of user> 3299

       P * <ip address of user > 32<Nr>

       P * <ip address of user> 33<Nr>

4) Save the saproutab file and take a restart of saprouter service. Post this it should work only for the user. Rest others won;t be able to login.
