Hi Frndz,

Can we send 5MB file thru mail adpater to External ids like thirdparty ids.if possible pls suggest how to configure mail adapter for the same.

HI,

You can send it.Consider PI server capability and receiver mail server capability.

PI can handle 5mb file comfortably.Check with receiver mail server ,if it could able to then no issues.

If the external mail server is at sender side of PI ;then you need to get the ports open .

Hi Narendra,

5MB should not be an issue for PI side but you need to ensure Receiver Mail Server does not have any restriction about this amount of attachment.

Yes, you may send it as attachment. Please search on SCN and you will find the content regarding sending attachment using mail adapter.
