How to change Application set Description

Hi All,

I want to change the Application set Description, is it possible to change in Bpc Admin?

or any other method to change the Application set Description from Backend(Bi)

Kindly guide me on this.

Hi srinivas,

Already experts advised, its same solution.

loginto BW server, t code RSA1, left side info providers---> right side select respective info area--> right click, change--> get inside and change the required description.

May be it's possible to do using RSA1 - change InfoArea (Long description), but I never checked it.

Yes the long description can be changed from BW system, system will prompt for a request to carry out the change.

This can be done through manage application set in BPC admin console.

In BPC 7.5 (if we are talking about Application set) it's not possible to change application set description using BPC admin console.

Thanks for clarifying. Dont have the access to 7.5 system. But, somehow, I felt that this option was available in the manage appset options.

Unfortunately not It's a very old bug...

It's not available in admin console and in web administration "Set Appset Parameters"
