Account assignment for third party sales

Hi All,

for third party sales,  there is a concept of  "account assignment ". what does it mean and why it is necessary ?

I think the account assignment is configured at  schedule line category of sales order

hi

in the third party sales senerio, AAC is a indicator for differenciating normal sales process and third party sales process. also when PO is invoiced, AAC is a influence factor to determinate account which should be posted to .

Hi,

  Account Assignment Category is Necesary to Diffrentiate the General sales form the purchasing process.

Since Third Party process goes through Purchasing Cycle we can easily identify through Account assignment category which proposes a GL account in the Purchase order.
