Re: No User defined for service /sap/bc/contentserver

Hi All,

We have a Solution Manager 4.0 box and ECC 6.0 box. Our functional folks are trying to display a document using tcode solar01 and they get the following error.

Error Message as follows:

No user defined for service /sap/bc/contentserver

System Response:

HTTP access is refused

Procedure for System Administration:

start transaction SICF and define a user with anonymous access to service /sap/bc/contentserver

1. I've checked the authorization part and granted the users authorization to object S_ICF on ECC6.0 box with following field values

ICF_FIELD=SERVICE

ICF_VALUE=CHECK

2. Also, on SICF under BC->ContentServer service that is active i've added the literal CHECK for the Authorization field under Service Data tab.

Even after following all the steps above the user from Solution Manager box gets the error mentioned above when they run transaction solar01 that tries to display document by connecting to ECC 6.0 box through transaction solar01.

Any pointers or help to resolve the above problem is appreciated.

Thanks

Hello Murali

The /sap/bc/contentserver service implements the SAP HTTP content server

interface. Have you defined the anonymous logon data as per SAP note 685521?
