about testing

hi gr8 people plz help me out here

as per orders of my pm ,i have imported one request in to my quality system. now i think that, i have to test it.is it a job of basis consultant or some specific testers job.

if yes how can i test it.. plz give me one example... thanks in advance

Functional consultants are accountable (in most projects) for testing functionality changes. Your responsability as a Basis admin is to ensure that is has been properly transported to the TST environment.

it's Basis responsability that transport are completed.

if it fails with an error 8, you must investigate to make sure it is not a Basis issue related to a Basis problem.

if not, contact the transport owner and ask him to fix his transport.
