Mr.Niranjan,

It is not possible to edit PO in R/3. PO editing will be possible only in SRM on Extended Classic Scenario. Let me know where you are trying to edit the PO...

Well ,there could be many reasons, but first obvious thought goes to roles and authorizations.

Pick up the role , and check in PFCG tcode.

On the Tab Authorization ,click the authorization data icon .

Navigate to BBP Component SRM: Process Purchase Orders ,Expand the tree.

Check the authorization value of activity of the role is allowed to edit POs .

Check the P.grps,Porg,Document types and compare it to the Master Data on your PO .

Ensure the user has role maintained both in SRM and Portal.

Get a SU53 dump once you access the PO in SRM.

Cheers

Hey Nitin,

Can you check the OSS '1839172 - Edit Button is not available on Purchase Order'?

If the PO is ORDERED, and any of these statuses are active, then the 'Edit'
button is disabled:

  • In Transfer to Execution Syst.(I1080)
  • In Transfer to Planning Syst. (I1081)

Thank you.

Imre
