Removing the Leading Zeros for 0XALPROD or 0XARLSUPP in SPM

Hi Experts,

We have requirement that to remove leading zeros for material in SPm UI. We have applied the relevant routines and conversion however when you load the data from SPM UI they are not taken care.

Could some one let us know if there is any specific solution for this issue to remove leading zeros. We have used Alpha conv exits and shift removing leading zeros in transformation etc already and these are not working when you load data from SPM UI.

We are using SPM3.0 SP2 and NW7.3. Your help will be appreciated.

Hi Amar,

Have you used this shift/aplha conversion in both master data and transactional data loads?

Other option would be to do this in the source system itself - but we need to do this in all the master data and transactional data where the XARLPROD is used. We initially had the same requirement in one of my project and as it was becoming more complex we used the SPM as in the standard.
