Hi All ,

Our business requirement is to do AFS mrp run base on safety stock in Material Master & generate PO from AFS run ...

How to configure the same in AFS MRP ...

Hello Paras,

First of all, AFS MRP does not create PO's. It either generates planned orders or purchase requisitions depending on the material master configuration set. The purchase requisitions can be converted to PO. This is similar to the behavior in standard MRP and there is no deviation for AFS in that.

With regard to your query on using AFS MRP, can you be a bit more specific? If you have safety stock configured in the material master, AFS MRP run will consider it while execution. There is no other configuration required.

Have configured as below :

MRP Type : PD

AFS MRP  Active

Safety stock maintained in AFS MRP view as grid wise

Using Tcode MD02 ; couldn't able to creaetd PR ...

tcode :  /AFS/MD02 is not working ( error : This function is not possible Message no. 00 127 )
