Packages not showing in SAINT

Former Member

Greetings,

I have just installed a dual-stack NW7 system and would like to install the GRC 10.0 add-on.  I used sapcar -xvf to extract the GRC .SAR files and placed them into \usr\sap\trans\EPS\in directory and executed t-code SAINT.  I then went to Load and it recognized all the packages in the \EPS\in folder.  However, when I push the <back> button, there is an empty list with the message "No fitting Installation Packages are available".

Can anyone advise why my packages are not showing up in SAINT?

Thanks

Hi Bartz,

You will not able to see the support package in SAINT transaction

1. You have downloaded the version of GRC 10.0 which is not compatible to

    SAP_BASIS and SAP_BW

SAP Note 1490996: Inst/Upgrade GRCFND_A V1000 on NW7.02

Enhancement Pack

2. Or check the filter button in SAINT transaction.

Hi All,

Apologies for the late reply (somehow the responses were not pushed to my e-mail).  This was a silly mistake on my part that the packages were not compatible with my version of NW7.  Once I obtained the correct packages, I was able to see them in SAINT.

Thank you all for your prompt and helpful responses.

Hi Bartz,

You can check the compatibility of the add-on component in service.sap.com/pam.

As I see in PAM, for Netweaver 7.0 the below Add-ons are supported.

SAP GRC ACCESS CONTROL 5.3

SAP GRC Access Control 5.3

SAP GRC PROCESS CONTR. 2.5_7.0

SAP GRC Process Control 2.5

SAP GRC RISK MANAGEMENT 2.0

SAP GRC Risk Management 2.0

Can you load the supported Add-on and try again.

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Mudasir.

Hi

Please confirm whether that GRC patches are related to your version or not.
