I assume you have MTO as storage type indicator in your WM view.

SAP is now trying to find an corresponding entry in the storage type search table

execute OMLY.

there you should have an entry with your warehouse number, for operation an E (Einlagerung) for put away, and MTO as storage type indicator,

the rest of the blue shaded fields should be blank. then  under column 1 2 3 etc you should have entered your storage types.

Hi John,

Please check the entry maintained in the WM1 view for Putaway storage type and check the startegy defined for that or not in the Storage type search strategy is defined for that or not.

if all the entry are there and then also you are facing issue then please share the screen shot of Error message screen (Once the TO error message screen appear go to "Environment" option on the menu bar and Define serach sequence option and share that screeen)

hi..

Please understand the Error..It says.. system is not able to find the storage type search.

Please check at LE..Warehouse..Strategies...Activate Storage type search..

If u have maintained this...then different storage type demands different levels of config..

Like fixed demands different config, Bulk Strategy demands diffrent..

so, please chk according to that..

which strategy u r using ??

Thanks

What is the strategy?

This may help.....

Extend the WM2 view in the material master for the the storage type.

Or....

If using storage type indicators...make sure it's populated in the WM1 view.
