About the 816 and the 824 Trans sets

Hey Guys

I'd be really grateful if some of could guide me on the 816(org rel) and the 824(app adv) Trasansaction sets in SAP

What do we generally do with them?

Has anyone worked with them before in SAP?

I need a lot of help on these!!

All help will be grately appriciated!

they are the idoc types for x12 std.

Guys ,

what I need to know is::

-> What are the ways in which I can bring this data into SAP.

-> Are custom IDocs the only way.Cant we generate a report out of them as taking them into the system directly might be risky

if we dont have have the idoc types inplace i.e. std then we ned to create a one. other than that there is no wayout

but there is no corresponding IDOC types/message types available in SAP for these transaction sets. You need to go for customized ones.
