Arjun,

thanks for your answer. But it's not solve my problem.

For my training purpose I have installed an IDES ERP6 EHP3

( files are from marketplace )

Then downloaded files IDES EHP6 for ERP6. I want to uprgrade old

NW 7.00 system to NW 7.03 .

Question : is it possible to apply IDES EHP6  directly to

IDES ERP6 EHP3 or do I have to go another way for up-

grading to NW 7.03

Your comment is appreciated

IDES doesn't come with upgrade DVD's. So, you cannot upgrade from EHP3 to EHP6. You might have to do a fresh installation on EHP6.

Arjun,

I don`t talk about DVDs.

I talk about download files from Marketplace.

Please see attachments. There are download files ( = IDES ERP6 EHP3) for IDES available

which result in ERP6 EHP3 after installation. There are also

download files ( =IDES EHP6 for ERP6 ) available which are called EHP6 for ERP6 (as IDES version )

Now my question is remaining : Can I apply this EHP6 to  ERP6 EHP3

to upgrade NW 7.00 of ERP6 EHP3 to NW 7.03.

I have read in SAP manual ERP6 that its possible to upgrade

production systems this way so my estimation is it should

also work with IDES..

Oscar,

You cannot upgrade your IDES system. IDES system you have to install a new system only when new release will be released.

Check SAP Note 799639 - IDES - General Information about the usage of IDES systems

Thanks,

Arjun,

thanks for your patience with me. I have red that SAP Note 799 639 IDES

which tells the facts.

I am at BI section. So I want to take the chance to ask you a last question.

The only chance to come from NW 7.00 to NW 7.03 IDES system is to

do the newest IDES installation . Am I right ?
