Changing of a Measuring point Category

Greetings,

                          I am Facing an Issue with one of my Custom Report, The Issue is I want to change Measuring Point Categories for Few Equipment's. But While creating Some one creating same categories for some equipment's.Its is not allowing me to change the category which is already defined. I want to change the Measuring Point category, at any cost, then I only I can resolve my Issue.I tried but some how i couldn't change it, Plz help me in this aspect, Thanks in Advance

                        I am Not getting any Message, I am able to change the data of Measuring Point,But not Category, it is already greyed out !!

Provide screen shot , where system allow to change category.

Greetings Nivas,

The facility to change Measuring Point Category for the MP is available via the menu Edit > Change Measuring Point Category.

Please refer the screenshot attached. This functionality should not give you any problems, and the new Category field should be available to change.
