Express document updation error during VF01

HI ,

      I am getting an error ' Express document updation was terminated' with VF01 tcode . I have gone thru all your threads but not able to arrive at a solution . IN SM13  it is showing ' RV_MESSSAGE_UPDATE' error. Please guide me how to fix this . we are using customized output types and smartforms and o/p programs.

Device arch does not exist

From the screen shot shown by you, it seems, system is not configured / customized properly for output.  Check that.
