Availability Check Query

Hi All,

Do availability check  function will work in system if only SD module is implemented and PP module is not implemented.

It will work. In Trading Companies, PP module will not be implemented. They will get the material from the vendor and sell it to the customer.

An availability check can work in SD where there is no PP involvement at all.

For example:

You post a goods receipt of 10

A Sales order with a requirement quantity = 10 is created.

The availability check will confirm an available quantity of 10.

There is no PP involvement in the above example. For details on how to set up availability check, you should refer to SAP help.
