how to CIF Sales BOMs from ECC to APO?

Hi SAP gurus,

I am facing what seems to be a recurring problem: I want to CIF Sales BOMs (BOMs with usage = 5) from ECC to APO, but the resulting PDSs only have the header with no components.

If I CIF BOM of other usages (for instance 1) then they result in perfectly complete PDSs with header + components.

We are under ECC 610 and SCM7.

I checked that all components and headers are in active material IMs, and BOMs are active and selected in the BOMs IMs.

Do you know how to get the CIF to send these BOMs?

Hi Hugues,

Make sure your BOM components are production relevant.

CS02 -> Double-click on item number -> Select "Status/Long Text" -> Check Production Relevant flag.

Repeat for your other BOM components.

it worked perfectly.

I’ll have to dig into whether this could have side effects though.

would you know any other (standard) way to make this work ithout changing the production relevancy? (which is actually dependent on the BOM usage - so it’s like I created an hybrid production-sales BOM)
