SAP MM functional role in Life Science Industries.

I am an SAP MM Functional consultant. Can anyone explain me the differences in Life science industries than others and day to day role of an sap mm consultant in Life science industries.

Main difference in Lifesciences there  is a Batch Management is Mandatory, Batch determination based on First Expiry First Out, Batch derivation, Batch management Number range,

* without Vendor Approval QM, MM person not able to raise PO, Quality Certificate must for Raw material, without Quality certificate GR not possible against PO.
