Hello,
I'm trying to do an update of my SolMan to SPS07 using SUM.
Now I stuck in phase 5.6 (Execution) at the step MAIN_NEWBAS/SUCCCHK_PROD. I get the message "Checks after phase MAIN_NEWBAS/SUCCCHK_PROD were negative!"
If I check the logs I see there's an error but no error-message:
rksapv02:csmadm 94> more /var/sap/CSM/BTD/SP07/SUM/abap/log/SAPup_troubleticket.log

Unfortunately I can't find further Information in the log or somewhere else. There are just some hints about 4 errors in phase XPRASUPG but I can't find any detailed logs about this. (./SAPup.log:# Error message set: 'Detected 4 errors summarized in 'XPRASUPG.ELG'')
Any hints where I could further find some information about what to do ?
Thanks and best regards,
Christian
Hi Christian,
I am glad to know that your problem is solved.
Can you please share the solution so that it can help others in future if they stuck with same issue.

it was a bug in the old SUM tool, which is already fixed in the latest version of SUM tool.
the fix must have been done by the SAP developers in the system itself as it is not advisable to change the upgrade control files bcoz it can cause further issues if not done correctly. You can avoid the issue with the latest SUM tool.
Hello Hammel,
This is purely error due to older version of SUM tool.
Can you please check the buffer which is used by SUM tool inside SUM/abap/buffer/CSM. Please attach that file.
I doubt this is probably due to request pending in buffer.

SG

Hi Gaurav,
there's no XPRASUPG.ELG on the Server - I found a XPRASUPG.SAV (which I added).
The XPRASUPG.SAV tells something about a missing report or similar:
2EEPU161 Program "CL_CTS_REQUEST_REMOTE=========CP": Syntax error in line "000009"
2EEPU164 "INCLUDE report 'CL_CTS_REQUEST_REMOTE=========CU'""not found"
1 ETP111 exit code : "8"
Best regards,
Christian
