Authorize users on company code for project reports

Dear Experts,

Request your help for an issue related with ZCJR1 (CJR1 until 4.7) reports.

Currently, we have

1. Two company codes A and B under a Controlling Area called ABCD.

2. A company users and B company users have separate reports pertaining to their respective company codes.

We want all A company users to have access only to A company reports.

We want all B company users to have access only to B company reports.

We want some superusers to have access to both A and B company code reports.

Kindly let us know if it is possible to control these reports based on the three authorization roles described above.

Best Regards,

Hi, Padmanabhan,

ask your basis guy to control the user access to the reports by organizational level maintained  for each role.

For example.

when you want

A company users to have access only to A company reports, then maintain only company code A at the organization level for that role

superusers to have access to both A and B company code reports, then maintain both company code A and B at the organization level for that role.

you talk to the basis guy , he will understand and this is maintained through T-code PFCG.

Regards

Deepak

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but the fact is these are system generated programs.  So there is no way we could find enhancement points.  Even if we did, any modifications to the reports will regenerate the programs thereby wiping our coding for authorization objects.

The reports are created through CJE1.

So could you please let me know how the basis team could be of help.

Hi Padmanabhan

If you are creating Customised report , you have to maintain company code as one of the input fields.

so when you give authorisation to this Z t code at the organization level to the userr you can restrict the authorisation to company code A or Company Code B or Both
