Dear Experts,

I upgraded the solution manager from kernel form 701 to 720, now am getting error as below:

What happened?

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "SAPLCRM_RPRTNG" had to be terminated

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

The following syntax error occurred in program "CONTEXT_X_CRM_A

     include "CONTEXT_X_CRM_ADDR_LONG " in

    line 155:

"Literals that take up more than one line are not permitted."

    " "

    " "

    " "

The include has been created and last changed by:

    Created by: "SAP "

    Last changed by: "SAP "

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "SAPLCRM_RPRTNG" had to be terminated

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

Hi,

check these two SAP notes.

First implement Note 1801092 - Context-Generierung: Syntaxfehler in CONTEXT_X_CRM_ADDR_LONG (only available in german right now) - this correction is for software component BBPCRM and corrects the "context generator".

Afterwards implement the corrections of Note 1802670 - ABAP runtime error SYNTAX_ERROR in CONTEXT_X_CRM_ADDR_LONG - fixed context CRM_ADDR_LONG is provided, if this correction is not working you need to generate context CRM_ADDR_LONG in SE33 manually

Hi Philip,

I would suggest you to the upgrade to the latest Kernel  720 patch.

If  it still doesn't resolve the issue then it could be due to incompatibility of your SAP_BASIS & Other components with 720 kernel. Post the software component versions being used in your system.

Regards,

Mudasir.
