Hello,
I want to activate Korea(KO) language for solution manager (SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0)
This is a Unicode activated system.
These are the steps i have done,
1. added Korean language in RSCPINST using "I18N" transaction
2. Added new profile parameter in instance profile - "RZ10" transaction
Parameter name: - zcsa/installed_languages
Parameter val - 3DE
Unsubstituted standard value display as a = DE
3.Restart SAP
Now i can log to SAP system with selecting "KO" language, but after logging to the system ,text shown in "German" but not in Korean
I checked the language in System>status, it shows as a "KO" in language.
Can you help me on this
Thanks
SIsila
Hi Sisila,
You need to first import Korean language packs using SMLT in addition to the steps performed by you.

Hi Sisila,
You need to login to SAP Service Marketplace using the right credentials.
http://www.service.sap.com/swdc
Look for the DVD : 51040440 SAP SOLMAN 7.0 EHP1 SR1 Language
It should have relevant installation packages.

Hi Sisila,
Please refer following link for language installation.
Ensure that you are following the correct steps.
Since you already have a PAT file, you may select the option of searching files /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in. You need to copy the .PAT files to /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in location.

Hello Deepak
This is still not successful.
I copied "KOSO7011.PAT" file in to /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in
When i try to import language package from /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in/KOSO7011.PAT it says " Invalid path"
When i try to import language package from front end it says "File 'KOSO7011.PAT' is not a CAR or SAPCAR archive"
I implemented sap note 0001588481 as well. (OCS import cannot find PAT file)
SAP_BASIS Release -701
Please instruct me on this,
Thanks
Sisila
