Status Change in TCode CJ20N

Hello,

I would like to build a role for users that use CJ20N, but I don't want them to be able to change the status of any object (neither WBS nor project, network etc.). I mean user status and not system status.

I read the following answer:

But I have a problem: If I assign 1 in activity field, the user can set a status but can't change.

If I assign 6 in activity field, the user can't set a status, but he can change (that is "delete").

In other words - I need two roles: one for users that can change status in CJ20N and one role for users that can't change status.

Please help !

Hello Rami,

You have to assign both activities 1 & 6 in the same role,, for users that can set the status. The other users will have to have the role with B_USERSTAT empty(witout authority key)

Define Authorization Key (BS52)

Set Authorization Key in the User Status Profile (OIBS).

Get your security (or Basis) to use authorization object B_USERSTAT to give authorizations for those authorization keys.

Authorization is checked with user statuses are set or deleted

so using authorisation key you can give acess for particular user to change and set  and for other users you can limit the authorisation to change the status
