Hi,

but what do you want to do with ASMA ? read, write ?

UDF is not mandatory - you can also populate/read ASMA in an adapter module (your own or some standard) but it all depends on the scenario...

Hi Madhu,

If you want to get the same file name at source and target, then select the ASMA in receiver file channel in advanced TAB and select the File Name check box.

Thanks

hi Madhu ,

that is depend on requirement ,

for ex :  if target file will create some name with time stamp then use time stamp

test + time stamp...

use file tipe when target file will create same file type whatever used source file type in sender adapter

u ll refer SCN and sap.help for more information .

Thanks,
