Format for EIN

Is anyone familiar with the required format for EIN that is accepted in import filing?  I know sometimes the hyphen or the suffix is not required.

I have tried every combo of EIN format and still get the error below:

##-#######00

#########

##-#######-00

#########00

I figured out the issue and it was related to a 3 digit code for the Trade # and that this was not looking at the tax ID #.  I am all set.

Hi Jessica,

Perhaps if you could explain what you're talking about, it might help us.  From the picture, I see that you're referring to Customs Declarations.  But which Legal Regulation or Country are you referring to, and what do you understand by an "EIN"?
