Analytic Privilege amd Data Preview

Hello SAP HANA Friends:

I'm in the early process of developing Analytic Privileges in the SAP HANA Modeler.

Should I expect the Analytic Privileges restrictions to influence the Data Preview of an

Analytic View, or should I only expect to see the effect of the Analytic Privilege in a BI4.0 reporting tool?

Hi Joseph,

The analytic privilege will impact all data access, including BO reports. The data preview will fire the select statement against the HANA object and hence will consider the assigned privilege.
