Hi All
1 > I want to know if we can implement DMS system on AIX operating system or is it available with windows only.
2> Do we have any central repository so that there is no need of DMS server to maintain documents.
If possible, kindly provide some documents related to this.

Hello,
SAP Easy DMS 7.1 is latest version and it is not supported on AIX.
You can use file system to store the documents but it depends upon requirement.
Also, check below link:

Thanks

Hi
@ Graham and Sunny - Again thx for your reply..!!
1> "suppose if we want to scrap DMS server and want a mechanism where we define a
system as central ( it could be a PRD , QA or DEV server that we currently have)"
Now can we use that defined central system to store all information that DMS server usually do from all servers.
Is it possible?
I was reading one document "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e5/15a0380d134f6fe10000009b38f8cf/content.htm".
2> if this is possible , then which system is preferred as central repository?
3> Acc to thread " http://scn.sap.com/message/7062636#7062636"
"The SAP Content Server is based on the database system MaxDB and as of Release 4.6 is
available on Windows 2000 Server for SUN Solaris, Hewlett Packard HP-UX, IBM AIX, SUSE Linux, and RedHat Linux"
Does tht mean AIX is possible OS for DMS?
4> if pt 1 is possible, what is preferred - DMS server or defining a central repository?
Hello,
You can also use Archivelink for this. Please check below link:
