Not possible to carry out the forecast - no historical data

Hello Experts.

for a project, i had created a

a) new PA and new planning version.

b) and then the planning books and data views +

c) Master forecast profile with univariate for the new PA

d) Copied history from the Old PA to new PA.

THe statistical forecast is run on the Adjusted history.

I have defined the activities etc., and when i run the forecast, the spool says " Not possible to carry out the forecast - no historical data"

There is historical data for that part.

What could be the reason?

Hi,

please check that you are using the correct keyfigure as input for your historical values in the forecast profile. Also that you selected a historic range large enough.

Hello,

Please make sure that:

1. You are using Adjusted History as the History keyfigure in your Univariate forecast profile.

2. Also Make sure that Adjusted history contains enough data to be used as history keyfigure

3. Finally make sure that you are same Master forecast profile involved in above two steps.
