Problem in archiving inspection lots

Hi All,

We have some inspection lots created. Lots are stock relevant & Created by stock transfer.

For these lots, results recording & UD not posted.

We want to archive these lots.

Please guide how to archive.

I tried after doing force UD completion but 'Pre-processing' program is not selecting the lot.

From SAP Help:

An inspection lot can only be archived if:

• The inspection lot has been cancelled, or if a usage decision has been made.
• If the last change to the usage decision was made before the retention duration.
• All stock has been posted for a stock-relevant inspection lot.
• If the inspection lot is not used in any of the following data records:
• Production order header
• Delivery note item
• Transfer requirement item without a “delivery completed” indicator.
• Quality level

All the lots are stock relevant only & we can not post UD.

In other option, when we are trying to cancel, cancel lot option is appearing as gray.

Lots status is REL  CALC SPRQ.

Please guide how to cancel.

All REL status Inspection lot can't be cancelled. Do the stock posting & complete the UD. Then do the archival.

It is not possible to post UD for these old inspection lots.

Is there any process we can revert back the REL status to CRTD & then cancel?

Why its not possible to post UD??

Is it Business Reason or something else??

Old inspection lots do not have results.

So we can post force UD.

But after doing so, Preprocessing job in Archival is not selecting any inspection lots.

Inspection lot is not considered in archival run..
