Filter value result from search help

Hi expert,

I want to filter the value displayed by a search help in SRM.

The search help seems from the ECC system.

Can anyone help me on how to filter the value?

Is there any exit or BADI to do that.

Hi Haja,

Apart from what Ritesh mentioned, You can check BADI BBP_F4_READ_ON_ENTRY. This influences the input help and search help. Using this BADI, those pur grps can be displayed
which are not assigned to a pur org in org plan.

Hello Haja,

If you are looking to stop F4 Search help for Cost center and GL account to only look into EBP attributes then you can do that by modifying Role which you have assigned to your requester as follow;

Select the role and go into PFCG; Go into Authorization of the role and check the Display Authorization Data --> In there BBP Component --> SRM: General Access Authorizations in EBP in this There is value

• BE_F4_HELP
  Call backend input help from the EBP which makes call when you search cost center, Internal Order etc.

By Default that is checked for roles if you un-check or inactivate that employee only able to search cost center which is entered in to their Attribute profile (PPOSA_BBP).

IT must have been a RFC in ECC

what kind of search help it is using?
