How to find table SYS.M_DEV_MEMORY_SEGMENT in hana studio?

Hi Experts:

I have no idea how to find SYS deve table in hana studio, such as table SYS.M_DEV_MEMORY_SEGMENT. But I can do query on this table. Hence I need tip to display or find table SYS dev table in hana studio, please.

Hi Jian,

the *_dev_* views are HANA internal views (if you want so: 'developer' views). They are not meant to be consumed by users/DBAs as they contain information that might/will not be consistent with the expectations of users as well as information that simply never will make any sense at all, if you're not part of the core HANA development team.

Much more user-friendly are the views listed in the documentation: http://help.sap.com/hana/html/monitor_views.html.

Also, the *_dev_* views tend to change often. So, no one can ever rely on their existence, form or content.

This is way it wouldn't make sense to provide a user interface in HANA studio for that.

To access the views, SQL is the interface to be used.
