Hi experts,
How can i identify with DEVICE TYPE is suitable of the printer.
for example
we have HP Laser Jet 45** series printer so what device type i choose in SPAD bacause lots of Device type is showing in the list.
ECC 6.0 on RHEL5 on oracle 10g

You can use below mentioned Device types for HP Laser jet 4500. You can check the attached document in note 1036961 for more details.

You may select HPLJ5/HPLJ6 device types. Another best alternative is to select SAPWIN as device type. It shall select the driver installed on the local machine rather than using the driver from SPAD device type.

By default you can also use SWIN , SAPSWIN based on your requirement. These two are generic drivers for most of the printers.
