Please find Our System Versions below

Hi,

You can go either with backup/restore method provided the DB & OS version remains the same as per the  source system. If not, you can try using system export and import method.

There is few advantages of using export and import method. Among them, you can have your DB re-organized as well as you can using the latest DB version in your target system.

Make sure that the hostname/Ipaddress remains the same on your new DC.so that there wont be any connectivity related issues.

We are not sure whether mirroring will work in your target system. You need to make sure that everything aspects are to be done like registery level settings are also needs to replicated same in the target system.

So please check which step would be easier and safer for you and perform accordingly.

I hope it helps

Please check and provide your feedback.

Thanks and Regards,

Hello Joseph,

Thanks for your reply,  DC maintance team is asking about Taking complete image of our present Systems using Acronis True Image Eco Server and redeploy into new DC system ? so in this scenario you have any docs or sapnotes to support ? if yes please provide

Hi Raja,

As suggested earlier, we are not 100% sure whether mirroring will work.

However, you can try to test it by doing the mirroring from a quality system or any other sandbox and try to move to another DC.

Please check whether you are able to access the system in the new DC ... If not, the only way is to either go for backup/restore method or export/import method.

Please try in this way and let us know whether it works or not.

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal

Hello,

These are 3rd party solutions and not tested. So, I am not sure about feasibility of this method.

Thanks

Hi,

For Data center migration, recommended approach is system copy method. By this way, you can guarantee that System will work. There are lot of white papers available on it.

Thanks
