Certifications applicable for XI Content with Custom Proxy in ECC

Hi,

We are developing an integration between 3rd Party application and SAP where the integration flows from the 3rd Party application into SAP PI and is then passed to SAP ECC for posting through a Custom Proxy wrapper which calls a Standard BAPI.

For this integration, would a XI-CNT certification suffice or would we also need to apply for a ABAP Add on Certification. The Proxy wrapper contains some code for the validation of data and formatting of response to the 3rd party application.

Can someone guide us on this.

Hi Vipin,

I just noticed this question from SCN.

As we discussed via our previouse e-mail, this part of the ABAP development shall be certified via ABAP Add-on deployment certification in advance.
