How to send new field sales data from ECC to APO ?

Hi Expert,

  My requirement is to send New Field like World wide customer detail from ECC to APO via CIF during sales order change/create...

I checked user exit( APO enhancement APOCF010, component EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLCIF_SLS_001 - ZXCIFUSERU14

)  both ECC outbound and APO Inbound.

Looks like i need to enhance SAP standard structures /SAPAPO/CIF_SL_DOC_CUS & /SAPAPO/CIF_SL_REQ_CUS , similarly in ECC CIF_SL_DOC/Req.

Are we allowed to change the structure. If so what will happen during upgrade...

Are there any other options to send new fields ????

Hi Sadeesh,

Since the mentioned CIF structures are reserved for customer enhancements, you can use them. During future upgrades, your additions/enhancements stay intact. However, you did not mention the purpose of the custom field. If you want to carry out ATP checks, then you need to update the structure /sapapo/komgoz as well as explained in the note # 385039 and 993452.
