Asset Values are not shown in Asset explorer - Reg.

Dear Experts,

Asset has been acquired (for ex: Rs.30000) in the year 2011 during special posting period 13 (Jan 2012). The asset year 2011 has been closed.

Issue 1 :

Year 2011 -  The Acquisition & Depreciation values were not displayed in the Asset Explorer in planned values for the year 2011.

Issue 2 :

Year 2012  -  Acquisition and Depreciation values have been shown in Posted values tab from July 2012 with very less amout (Rs 2000) and depreciation also calculated on the amount 2000. Wondered how the acquisition and depreciation values were missing from Jan to June 2012.

Please suggest me what might be wrong to display values in asset explorer for aforementioned issues.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,

Venkat

Hi Venkat,

Most probably the table ANLC is not correct.

To refresh the table ANLC you can use the reports RACORR110 and RACORR55.

You find this reports under the following link:
https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/fiaa-faq
press "Correction and Maintenance Reports" (below)

   - RACORR110.txt
   - RACORR55.txt

(The relevant note is 366848.)

You have to implement the reports manually.

The report RACORR110 accumulates the values of the asset line items and writes the result in the table ANLC.

RACORR55 forward the values in the next fiscal year.

The reports are working only if you have zero-lines in the table ANLC.

Do not hesitate if you have further question.

Best regards Bernhard

Hi,

If you acquired the asset in the special period for the FY 2011 asset acquisition value should display 2011 and depreciation will post in to 12 period in the plan values, and check the depreciation start date in the asset master data.

Please check the depreciation key settings and method using for depreciation calculation.

If possible please attach the screen shot for better understanding of the asset.

Thanks & Regards

Srinu
