Information Design Tool or Universe Design Tool on Linux

Hi All,

I will be developing BOBJ reports installed on Red Hat.  My question is, which Universe creation tool is usable?  Is it IDT or UDT or it can be both?  And how do I access it?  Is it through a URL like how BI LaunchPad and CMC are accessed?

Hi Ron,

IDT and UDT are client applications : they have to be installed on windows machine. Then, you connect via these application to your server which is in Redhat

These two tools are for creating universes , but IDT creates unx universe and UDT creates unv universe.
