control indicator change for reference master inspection characteristics(quantitative)

Hi Expert,

we need to change the control indicator for quantitative MIC which is linked to class characeristics(Reference charac) ,now we need to change some control indicator e.g no formula to Calculated chara ,upper and lower limit indicator but its not possible.

Please suggest the option how i can change the indicator as we need to apply this changes in inspection plan.

While clicking Control Indicators button in created MIC, system will pop up message as You can Change only certain control indicators.

As per that, you can't change the some indicators (using help from the message)

• Characteristic attribute
• Lower specification limit
• Upper specification limit
• Check target value
• Sampling procedure
• SPC characteristic
• Test equipment assignment
• Calculated characteristic

Solution:

Make the existing MIC as No longer used or Deletion flag. Create New one & update the Inspection Plan and / or Routing.
