Dear Gurus,

one of my raw material was batch managed with quality inspection type 01, now we have remove batch management tick from material master .

at the time of qa32 while doing UD system is throwing the error "assignment of a batch is required:though i have already remove the tick from material master.

please guide me.

Its because ,it will always refer to master data when Inspection lot was created and not the have any effect even though master is changed later .

In short for this problem you have to assign batch to Inspection lot in QA02 or cancel lot & create new one.

I hope, by the time Inspection lot was created, material might have batch management activated.

How you deactivated batch management?? Have you removed all stock & again you updated the stock without batch management??

No MIGO is done without batch i have changed batch after removing all stocks.

in SDN i have read lot of threads about this problem is there note for overcoming this error.

Please help me out.

SAP Note 170081 - UD: Possible to make UD without batch assignment
