I am piloting our intial corporate roll-out of oour SAP GUI 7.30 Patch 2 Hotfix 2, SAPSetup.exe is patch 27.  The client has a valid ID and password.  Has anyone else experienced this and hopefully resolved.

You get this message if the password for the user has been deactivated in SU01. You can re-activate it by setting a new password.

Thanks Steve,

Do you know what causes this?

Most likely somebody hit the "deactivate password" button by mistake on the "logon data" tab of SU01. Easy to do. I didn't even realise it was there until I hit my by mistake once:-)
