BO Mobile Works Offline?

Hello experts!

I am looking for some information about how Business Objects works on mobile, and I really need to know if it works Offline.

Hi,

Offline dashboards and refresh on device dashboards are supported since SP05 of BI4.0

Hi,

To access Business Intelligence Reports via Mobile(Mobi), first the mobile server must be deployed on a appserver.Then you need to connect to any BOE CMS via the deployed mobi server and the documents assigned to Mobile category of the connected CMC will be listed on the ipad.

On the offline functionality, if the 'offLine storage= true' is set on the server, then user can download the webi documet locally on to the Ipad device. once downloaded, the user can open the document even when he goes offline. But server operation such as drill, inputcontrol etc which needs server interaction will not work in offline mode.

Hi Timmy,

There is no workaround with the current release of the app, this will be addressed in future release, please elaborate your requirment, so that it can be addressed better while implementing.

Either you can elaborate your requirement here, or put them in the Idea Place

Hi,

even if you are on BOE XI R3.1 SP 5 you can work offline on SAP BI Mobile device.
